With just a few short weeks left in 2019, I wanted to take a moment to wish a merry Christmas to all of the wonderful clients and their families who’ve worked with me this year. Wherever you live, the holiday season is all about home, and I’m fortunate that I get to work in homes of all shapes and sizes.
I love working as a home inspector. I get to be a part of one of the biggest days of people’s lives, and to make sure that they’re fully aware of exactly what they’re moving into.
I’m invited into people’s spaces, and it’s my job to nose around every nook and cranny. I really enjoy diving into the details of a building’s architecture, structure, materials and more. Every house has its own story, and that story continues to evolve over time.
And I love the educational part of the job, too–explaining these details and developing trusting relationships with my clients. A home is an extension of the people who live there. And all together, the people who live here in southwest Florida make up the character of the area. Sarasota-Manatee is my home, too, and I love getting to know it, home by home, neighborhood by neighborhood, and family by family.
As we look forward to 2020, I’m excited to develop new relationships and discover new stories. And I continue to be grateful for each home I’m invited into.
